Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
A key feature of the POT by NOIDS is its intelligent heating system. It utilizes a dynamic algorithm to continuously monitor and adjust temperature and cooking time for optimal results. This ensures precise temperature control within a tight range of ± 1 °C (1.8 °F), preventing burning and maximizing the potency of your herb.
Cooking Time Variations: The total cooking time can be influenced by several factors, including room temperature, the moisture content of your herb, and the amount of herb or oil you're using. As a general guideline:
Decarboxylation: 1 hour 30 minutes to 4 hours
Infusion: Approximately 3 hours
Evaporation: Approximately 50 ml per hour
THC vs. CBD Processing: THC decarboxylation typically requires a higher temperature, leading to greater variation in processing time. For other functions like CBD decarboxylation, oil infusions, and CBD oil, the cooking time remains more consistent. Tip for Smaller Quantities: When decarboxylating less than 10 grams of THC herb, it's recommended to use the filter set with the filter pushed down 1 cm above the herb instead of the standard flat lid.
