Who doesn't love chocolate? Today, let's make some infused chocolate from scratch. If you prefer the easy route, just melt some high-percentage pure chocolate, mix it with infused butter (check our blog for how-to), and let it cool in any chocolate mold. For those up for a bit more fun, here's the from-scratch method.
Equipment:
Chocolate mold
A small pan
A bowl
Ingredients:
¼ cup of infused butter (50 grams, check our blog)
½ cup of cacao nibs or powder (100 grams)
A pinch of salt
Optional: milk (or any vegan alternative)
Instructions:
Prepare the Double Boiler:
Fill your pan with water and bring it to a boil.
Place the bowl on top of the pan, ensuring the water doesn’t touch the bottom of the bowl.
Melt the Butter:
Put the infused butter in the bowl and let it melt completely.
Add the Cacao:
Stir in the cacao nibs or powder until it starts to melt and blend with the butter.
Mix in Remaining Ingredients:
Add a pinch of salt and any optional ingredients like milk.
Stir the mixture for three more minutes until smooth.
Pour into Molds:
Pour the melted infused chocolate into the chocolate mold.
Cool Down:
Place the mold in the fridge and let the chocolate cool for about two hours.
