Who doesn't love chocolate? Today, let's make some infused chocolate from scratch. If you prefer the easy route, just melt some high-percentage pure chocolate, mix it with infused butter (check our blog for how-to), and let it cool in any chocolate mold. For those up for a bit more fun, here's the from-scratch method.

Equipment:

  • Chocolate mold

  • A small pan

  • A bowl

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup of infused butter (50 grams, check our blog)

  • ½ cup of cacao nibs or powder (100 grams)

  • A pinch of salt

  • Optional: milk (or any vegan alternative)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Double Boiler:
    • Fill your pan with water and bring it to a boil.

    • Place the bowl on top of the pan, ensuring the water doesn’t touch the bottom of the bowl.

  2. Melt the Butter:
    • Put the infused butter in the bowl and let it melt completely.

  3. Add the Cacao:
    • Stir in the cacao nibs or powder until it starts to melt and blend with the butter.

  4. Mix in Remaining Ingredients:
    • Add a pinch of salt and any optional ingredients like milk.

    • Stir the mixture for three more minutes until smooth.

  5. Pour into Molds:
    • Pour the melted infused chocolate into the chocolate mold.

  6. Cool Down:
    • Place the mold in the fridge and let the chocolate cool for about two hours.

Enjoy your homemade infused chocolate! Perfect for snacking or adding a special touch to desserts.
