Cannabis sugar might be the most versatile edible you can imagine. It's a basic ingredient that can infuse almost any food-related item.
Ingredients:
3-5 grams of cannabis
1 cup of grain ethanol (≈ 200ml)
1 cup of sugar (≈ 200ml)
The Gear:
POT by NOIDS
One container for the finished product
One cup to retain the evaporated ethanol
How It's Done:
Decarboxylate Your Cannabis: Activate the THC or CBD in your cannabis. Check our website or YouTube channel for tips.
Infuse the Ethanol:
Add the ethanol to your decarboxylated herbs.
Let the mixture rest for at least three hours at room temperature. Stir once or twice.
Filter the Mixture:
Use the POT by NOIDS filter to separate the used herb flowers from the mixture. Discard the buds.
Mix in the Sugar:
Put the filtered mixture back into the glass.
Add the sugar and stir well.
Evaporate the Ethanol:
Attach the condenser to your filter.
Use the POT by NOIDS to evaporate the ethanol, catching up to 95% back in your cup.
Cool and Grind:
Let the infused sugar cool down.
Once cold, grind or break it into your desired size.
Tip:
This method is similar to making wax or tincture. To make sugar, you add the sugar before the last step (evaporation of the ethanol). Check out our step-by-step video on how to make wax/tincture on our YouTube channel!
